Company Overview:

Champion Personnel is currently seeking experienced Test Technicians for our client located in Aurora, Ohio. Our client designs and manufactures best-in-class power quality products including Static Transfer Switches, Power Distribution Units and Remote Power Panels.

Position Overview:

A Test Technician conducts tests and inspections to evaluate the quality and performance of products and equipment. They interpret quality standards, diagrams, and specifications then execute tests accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test electronic power equipment, transformers and circuit breakers
• Troubleshoot AC and DC power and control circuits (up to 480v)
• Perform repairs of control, power and fiber optic assemblies
• Perform crimping and routing of wires, as needed
• Programming electronic devices, interfacing with computer and programs on computer
• Completing test reports and documentationRequirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or 2+ years of related experience
  • Proficient with Voltmeter/meter reading
  • Read and understand schematics, wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings
  • Ability to lift 30lbs. regularly
  • Advanced experience with computers including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Excellent eyesight and hand/eye coordination
  • Must be comfortable working around electronics and voltages up to 480vAdditional Details:
    • Shift available: 1st- 6am to 2:30pm M-F
    • Starting pay is $25+ per hour based on experience
