Apply today!About the roleThe CDL Class A Driver II will perform duties associated with transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and the client's sites. Drivers will have the opportunity to operate a variety of manual and automatic transmission equipment including vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, and flatbeds.Position Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment following DOT regulations, company policies and client site safety.
• Drive commercial vehicles to pick up and transport waste to a designated location safely while meeting scheduled appointments and following all DOT regulations.
• Drive trucks and operate specialized pump equipment on vehicles to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials.
• Ensure the placarding of the vehicle meets DOT regulations as applicable.
• Maintain records such as vehicle logs, vehicle inspection reports, records of cargo, and shipping manifests according to state and federal regulations.
• Communicate, verbally and electronically, with dispatch regarding delivery instructions.
• Interpret maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions.
• Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
• Secure cargo before and during transit.
• Use mobile technology for E-Logs
• Complete additional assigned duties.Required Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years or older, due to interstate travel in a commercial vehicle and federal regulations.
  • CDL Class A required
  • Minimum 3 years of commercial Class A driving experience, including tanker experience.
  • Acceptable driving record.
  • Home DailyPreferred Qualifications
    • High School Diploma / GED preferred.
    • Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred.Physical Demands of the Role
      • Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb
      • Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
      • Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces when required
      • Qualify to wear a full-face respirator; clean shaven may be required
