In this role, the Casting Operator will perform tasks related to the casting of aluminum such as preparing the casting area for production, beginning and maintaining the cast, collecting samples, and aiding other departments as needed.

$1,000 Sign-On BONUS!!
Pay: $17.50 - $23.00/Hr *Based on Experience*
Day and Night Shift - 7AM-7PM

Follow a Continental Schedule 2 on 2 off; 3 on 2 off.

Shift differential for working alternate shift What you'll need:

High School diploma or GED
The ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Be able to bend and stand for extended periods of time, and withstand exposure to heat and cold
Able to climb in overhead structures, work beneath machines and in close quarters
Willing to be part of a winning team and able to work all shifts, flexible hours and mandatory overtime.
Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required. We can train.

What you'll do:

Complete pre-cast setup to the requirements of the casting operation
Inspect casting setup for correctness and to ensure successful cast
Collect metal samples during casting and delivers them for quality testing
Remove, replace and setup drain pans for continuous operation
Operate remote control crane as required
Perform minor repairs and cleaning of hardware
Service trough, molds and additional equipment as necessary
Complete reports and logs as necessary
Notify Control Room Operator and or General Manager of any shortages in consumables; potential concerns or issues in production
