Position Overview:

Bellco Feeders is seeking a Field Service Technician to play a critical role in ensuring our systems perform optimally at customer facilities. This role requires a high level of flexibility and a willingness to travel whenever needed, sometimes on short notice. If you are mechanically inclined, enjoy troubleshooting, and thrive in hands-on environments, we want you on our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills and troubling shooting expertise. On-the-job training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel on-site to customer facilities, often on short notice, to provide technical service and resolve equipment issues.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components of Bellco Feeders systems.
Properly align and set up systems for customer runoffs at Bellco's facility.
Perform system installations, start-ups, and maintenance at customer sites.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and pneumatic diagrams.
Provide exceptional customer service and technical support while in the field.
Maintain detailed documentation of system issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
Support in-house assembly, machine preparation, testing/debugging and packaging when not traveling.
Follow workplace safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Uncrate shipments

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with assembly and troubleshooting.
Experience with automated systems, pneumatics, and electrical components is a plus.
Willingness to learn and become an expert in Bellco Feeders' equipment.
Ability to problem-solve and think critically under pressure.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds and operate lift trucks and overhead cranes.
Must be willing and able to travel up to 60% of the time, sometimes on short notice.
Overtime may be required.
